why do tears keep flowing from my eyes

running down my face

and to the corners of my lips

leaving a bitter emotion
that has a bitter after-taste.
it is because

the wound is too deep?

a wound that takes time to heal

even has a scar left behind

a scar with a bitter after-taste.
