dad: mm.
mom: lock the door...
(locks door and heads for the lift;
we are going out to bugis and OG just to jalan jalan, takes the lift to first story, and proceeds to bus stop;
at bus stop)
mom: a! you want to bring your soya bean or not? you left it at the counter...
me: oh ya hor, er..
mom: want to go up? faster go up, the bus not here yet..
me: oh... okok
(rushes to lift lobby)

(rushes back)
me: a i need the key i forget to bring my key..
mom: aiya! okay (rummages thru her bag for her key) nah. why you never bring?!
me (shouts and runs to lift lobby): oh no need ma!
(inside lift)

(lift door opens;
rushes to open door and finds the main door open, gate locked;
opens gate)
me: hi dad!
dad: mmm. a. why you come back.
me: oh i forgot to bring my soya bean..
(runs to kitchen counter to take soya bean)
dad: its a sign for you to stay and help me paint the house la..
me: huhhh, no la, okay okay byebye see you later!
dad: mm.
(locks gate;
presses lift button;
lift arrives;

.
lift reaches first floor;
and the bus just arrived, so i run to bus stop and mom is in the distance gesturing me to hurry up)

me: got it!(holds up soya bean bottle)
mom: okay
(both of us takes our wallets/EZ link card; before i tab mom says this)
mom: oh you got new wallet?
*teah*
me: no la long time ago
(everyone's entree to the bus is accompanied by a *teah*; except mine)

me: oh shit! i forgot to bring my EZ card!
mom: *open eyes* wanna alight now den take or not?
me: aiya nehmy la,
*goes to the back of the bus, and thinks about how my transport would go*
(bus starts to move off)

mom: a... you better go take, lets alight la, aiya, you keep on forgetting to bring,
me: nevermind really..
mom: how you travel!!!
me: *silent*
(we alight as the bus stops at the next stop *teah*)
me: oh okay okay, haha!
mom: still can laugh!?

(i run off to home smiling into the air)
mom: *complaining jokingly at the back*
(runs back)
me: haha! i need key!
mom: aiya!!!
(rummages thru bag again)
mom: bring key hor!
me: haha okay..

.
.
(opening gate and laughing;)
me: hi again haha!
dad: hah? come back again?
me: yea i forgot my EZ link card haha
dad: why not you go to toilet, then see if you forget to pangsai. umph umph ha.
me: haha
(runs up to take EZ link card & key)
me: haha okay bye
dad: forget anything or not?
me: haha errr no i dont think so..
dad: sit at the sofa la, then see whether you forget anything else, then later mommy call you, you say "i forgot to go down" umph haha.
me: haha! no la!
