@ 10:58 PMUpdate: Tagboard has been restored! (:
Hi all! just came back from a mouth watering dinner with my brother and father.
Today, after morning service (and after my bro's basketball rounds with the guys at sembawang) we went back home just to chill with each other before watching the parade on channel 5 with my dad.
So while we waited, we decided to watch the latest harry potter movie, the half-blood prince. We both took a shower and I put on a mask whilst my brother was taking a shower. And I took a photo of myself with my aloe mask, and took photos with my brother too!

harry potter didn't really appeal to me tho, cause..
1) the story line was to fast,
2) always too condensed compared to the books,
3) the last harry potter movie I watched was more than a year ago,
4) as a result the beginning didn't make any sense to me,
5) and the colour of the DVD was very dark and very morbid-ish.
The only part of the movie that I was actually interested in was the ending, when dumbeldore died. I wanted to know if he really died or he came back to life or if his death was fake etc etc; since I did not read the last book of the harry potter series.
So after that we adjourned together in the living hall and watched the parade.
We wented to order pizza or KFC, or some fast food outlet that had delivery service, but we couldn't get thru to pizza hut, and KFC said they would take 2 hours and 15 minutes to arrive at our door step so my brother was like "forget it man." And also, he had a hard time understanding the person at the other line, he told the operator at least 4 times that he had difficulty comprehending him/her.
" I am so sorry, but I do not understand you""I am really sorry but I really do not understand what you are saying.""Sorry but can you repeat what you just said?"
the conversation ended with a concluding:
"Oh okay......What!? I am sorry. But I really really do not understand you."
So we just decided to go for dinner after the parade was over.
NDP wasn't as bad as people said it was, I enjoyed it quite well (: My Dad, bro and I said the pledge and sang the national anthem at 8.22 p.m., it was good family time. (:
After that we went to have zhi char at CCK and we are home now.
NDP really makes me feel like a patriotic citizen now! The parade emphasized on love alot more this year. There were heart-shaped bulbs for the audiences. The choir and singers had this part of their performance where they just sang "love, love, love" and they let out red heart-shaped balloons into the evening sky! pwretty!
The "Day of His power"s and NDP's themes both matche perfectly for those who know what I am talking about. We prayed that we will love and be passionate about our nations' well-being and condition. Even NDP is encouraging us to do so (:
love, love, love.
